What is a VPS?
A virtual private server (VPS) is a virtual machine that Webdev sells as Software as a service (SaaS). It is virtual hardware provided to you the customer, which is hosted on the Webdev Cloud, and does not require installation at your premises or require you to provide hardware to operate. VPS is a service where a you purchase a virtual server based on a set of pre-defined specifications e.g 1GB RAM, 1 CPU and 25 GB Hard drive. Our VPS’s are hosted on SSD storage for fast access, and come with 100Mbps internet connections. VPS products are purely a software based product, and that no physical hardware (hard drives, disks, network cards, etc) are provided to you.
