What changes — honestly

Questions before you move?
Why is my plan changing?
Business email has outgrown what shared hosting was built for. Mailbox-heavy accounts hit storage, sending and security limits that a dedicated email platform handles properly. Moving you onto Zoho, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace gives you better reliability, spam filtering and mobile access.
Will my email addresses and domain stay exactly as they are?
Yes. Every address stays the same, and your domain stays with Webdev. Nobody emailing you needs to change anything, and you don't need to tell customers a new address.
When does this happen?
At your next renewal. We contact you beforehand, agree a date that suits you, and confirm the plan before anything moves.
What happens to my existing email history?
Your existing mail, folders and contacts move across as part of the migration. We check the transfer with you before we switch anything over.
Will my email be down while you migrate?
Migrations are scheduled for a quiet window that we agree with you, and mail continues to be delivered throughout. There can be a short period where new mail takes a little longer to appear while your domain's mail routing updates, so we plan for it rather than pretend it doesn't exist.
What happens to my website?
Nothing. Email and website hosting are separate. Your site stays exactly where it is unless you separately ask us to change it.
Who does the migration work?
Our Zimbabwe-based team. Migration support is included, so you're not paying extra to move, and you're not doing the technical setup yourself.
What will it cost?
Pricing is per mailbox, per month, and the anchors on this page show the starting point for each platform. Your exact figure depends on how many mailboxes you need and which platform you choose — we confirm it with you in writing before anything changes.
